This tour, on the occasion of the festival of Paro in Bhutan, will start from the north east of India, in Sikkim, until reaching the neighboring state of Bhutan, to retrace the path that Guru Rinpoche made from India to Tibet and spread Buddhism. Guru Rinpoche is a much loved and revered character as the second Buddha, he was the first and most important speaker of Buddhism in Tibet and founder of Tibetan Buddhism. This trip will give you the opportunity to visit the consecrated landscapes following their tracks and to rediscover the values of peace and solitude, visiting the hidden sanctuaries and the ancient ascetic Gompas (Buddhist temples) and traveling through the still virgin places of the Himalayas.
